No comprehensive study of NFIA expression has been published, although in mouse there is detailed information on expression of the 4 Nfi genes during embryogenesis (Chaudhry et al. Dev Dyn. 1997 Mar;208(3):313-25. PMID: 9056636). The 4 Nfi genes are expressed in a complex and overlapping pattern with multiple family members being expressed in most tissues.
